چکیده
1) Define first and second ionization potentials. Why is the second ionization potential greater than the first ionization potential? Discuss three factors affecting IP values of elements? Ans. The minimum energy required to remove the most loosely bound electron from an isolated gaseous atom to convert it into a gaseous ion is called first ionization potential. It is expressed in e.v/atom or k.j/mole or k.cal/mole.

On the Properties of Periodic Perceptrons
This paper presents a summary of recent research regarding a modified perceptron model in which processing elements utilize a periodic activation function. Empirical results for a number of benchmark tests provide some indication of the “in practice” power of networks containing periodic processors for pattern classification tasks. In addition, new results are reported in which the internal str...
متن کاملAtomic Core Based Periodic System of Elements. A Contradictory Approach to the Arbitrary 1–18 Group Numbering in the Long Form of Atom Based Periodic System
Problems connected with the long version of atom-based Periodic System of chemical elements with arbitrary 1–18 group numbering recommended by IUPAC are discussed. Introducing the atomic cores of elements instead of atoms to the Periodic Table enables to define unequivocally the Periodic System as a triparametric classification resulting from three numbers: the number of core electron shells n,...
متن کاملSQL Application for Periodic System of Elements
The paper presents SQL power of periodic system using for didactic aim. The article is based on a PHP application developed to present a periodic system in a form, which can be used for answer at different questions, which can be asked related at the structure of elements. There are presented all queries that are needed to be use for classification of elements after different properties, the da...
متن کاملPeriodic Cointegration Analysis on the Relationship between the GNP Sectors of the Iran’s Economy
T his paper analyses the relation between GNP sectors of Iran’s economy. The different sectors of the economy directly or indirectly affect each other and can complement or follow each other. Using a number of empirical tests, the paper finds evidence of seasonal or periodic integration in the underlying data. This means that the conventional cointegration tests may not be robust and in re...
متن کامل587Periodic Classification of Elements
Same is the story with chemical elements. A large number of elements and compounds are known today. But a systematic classification of these elements has made their study possible and easy. The well organized and tabulated classification of elements, as we know it today, is called the periodic table. It not only helps to locate, identify and characterize the element and its properties but also ...
